Twitch fps and bitrate #TipsJK time! This is for EVERYONE who streams who doesn't also record the video for YouTube. Otherwise, there is more steps and it's a bit annoying. I don't have an easy way to show the effects, but test a stream and see how it looks! Or a test recording.

Awesome, does the same logic of bitrates apply to recoding? # of bits per frame? And for exporting edited videos??? So theoretically a 1080p30 video would do well in recording and exporting at a bitrate of 6000?

Many people default to 1080p 60fps and whatever bitrate OBS defaults to these days. I honestly can't remember. 2500 or 4000. One of those. ANYWAY... I don't advice using 60fps for a stream. Recording? Sure! Streams? Nope. What this does is basically halve the detail per frame.
