If Israel were to suddenly declare “All Palestinians are equal”, declare a permanent ceasefire and open up its resources, rights and lands to Palestinians as fellow citizens, would Hamas still be as powerful and/or radical?

No, probably not, and I’d love nothing less than for that to happen. But even in that scenario I don’t see how the people who organised the deliberate murder of over a thousand civilians can end up anywhere except The Hague.
