Things Frans "can't" do. 1. Never learned how to swim. 2. Can read well enough to get by, but it is limited. 3. Can play pretty much any instrument except for a Viol, Dulcimer, and Shawm, but he could probably figure it out. 4. Never been on a date, so romance is a mystery to him outside of songs.

Frans puts on a charming and witty persona, but in reality, he's still the scared little 13-year-old boy starving in the cold. He's pessimistic, doesn't have hope in much, is anxious, & focused on self-preservation. Throughout the journey, he grows, opens up, & regains his kind, child like heart.
