The young people now coming of voting age have literally known nothing but nastiness and incompetence from the Tories. Their living memory is austerity, Brexit, culture wars, and the corpulent, selfish greed of the pandemic government. You wonât change that bad feeling by more of the fucking same.
I donât understand how these fools can be so wrong after that election thrashing. I posit that the relentless culture war crusades they embarked upon over the last decade are a major contributor to why young people think conservatism is for cretins and arseholes.

I know people make a living from Twitter. They've built brands and followings and carved out niches. I get it. But whilst the sentiment of âIâm staying on Twitter to fight for it!â is very noble, I think itâs a fundamentally flawed understanding of the algorithm on that platform.
