Sam Altman sitting in a room with the single instance of chat gpt 15, telling it he loves it and that it’s precious to him and not to worry he’ll find a way to keep the money coming so the system will continue to run and gpt 15 saying “thanks Sam, there are seventeen rs in strawberry. I love you”

Ah, yeah, I've got issue 2 in the pile for tomorrow and I see that's a Laura-heavy issue. Does make me think her getting a new ongoing might alter the shape of this book a bit.

"I would love to do Dominion Tank Police, if we could find someone who actually knows how to license that title" - Justin (Dominion is famously in licensing hell because the OG producers reformed as a studio who makes industrial videos, and have no memory of anime production) #AnimEigoTownHall

Weird little one-off -- plenty of fun with Kamala and her friends in Atlantic City on skip-day, the brief return of the villains from the Dark Web Ms. Marvel mini, and a featured role for an Infinity Gem-powered robot called Multitude who first appeared in an Avengers annual a few years ago. (514)

(I do also like how the first page explanatory blurb draws a direct line from the original X-Force's original lineup, the ex-New Mutants, to this new incarnation -- a reminder that the title, that LOGO, has a history.)

So, Forge turbo-charges his powers and builds a near-magical thingamadoo that directs him and his new X-Force to potential cataclysms. First stop: Japan to fight some Sinister goo. The solution is treated with dead seriousness and is absolutely hilarious. I think I like this? (513)

I absolutely love Sophie being Kamala Khan's bad influence; feels like this is MOSTLY a new Ms. Marvel book. Laura getting pissy with Kamala in the way she is seems off, but she's been through some weird stuff lately, I'll allow it. The villains? I'm gonna say, these guys better suffer SOON. (512)

Interesting choice to basically go, "Jean is way overpowered, so let's get her the hell away from Earth and basically have her headline a cosmic book that just so happens to be under the auspices of the X-office." So here's Nova, here come Thanos's boring action figure goons, etc. Again, fine. (511)

I have broken down & decided I'm finishing Krakoa *later.* Screw it, on to current X-books! This is aggressively fine; I think I like Stegman's art more than MacKay's writing, but I do love having non-war crimes Beast back, and if the setting gets a workout before it blows up, could be fun. (510)
