I should really stop sub-tweeting Twitter on here. Unfortunately, there are just too many normal people on this site for me to Generate Content.
If you make an AI "tribute" to Princess Mononoke then you don't understand Princess Mononoke. And yet it's impossible to imagine someone not understanding a movie with such a sincere and direct message as this one. Therefore, the only conclusion is that you *do* understand it. You just hate it.
We also must not forget that it would be those same boomers who'd end up the most brainrotted out of all this.
It's not just boomer-coded: it literally was the viewpoint of the boomers. They saw the wave coming as the unnatural phenomenon it was. We all laughed at the time, and still do, but were they wrong? "All the kids are on their dang phones!" is distinct from brainrot, but the former had to come first.
I've resigned myself to the fact that nobody is ever going to post exactly as I'd wish.
"I want longer movies with more wish fulfillment made by fans just like me who are paid less to work more and I'm not kidding!"
The threat of toxic fandoms — from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings to Bridgerton and Game of Thrones — has become an intractable headache for almost every studio.
For the life of me, I cannot imagine the appeal of seeing Kyle Rittenhouse as a guest at a metal show. Like, even if you're one of those frothing hogs who love him- what could you possibly get out of that?
We live at time in which people are becoming more and more aware of just how catastrophically broken a lot of minds have become as a result of constantly being online, but also if you ever attempt to portray that catastrophe in art you will be laughed to scorn.
It was a breath of fresh air, as gross as it all was.
How did Adar give up the ring so easily? If the Lord of the Rings has any rule, it's that no one is above such a temptation. But *especially* Adar, I feel. He's: 1- Evil (which isn't merely a psychological trait in Tolkien) 2- Healed/restored by it And he gives it up like he's fuckin' Tom Bombadil
