As @chrisgrey.bsky.social points out in today's blog, this ECHR stuff [imo: an out-of-power self-indulgence and an attempted 'clickbait' for the hard right] may also have the effect (if soon a Shadow Cabinet shibboleth) of making a stable UK polity harder to perceive - a continuing Brexit effect.
