From policy announcements to political positioning, the Labour conference in Liverpool was followed closely by the IfG team.
Nick Timothy is saying that "common sense opinion" has been ahead of "clever opinion" on immigration levels. (He won't mean this bit of public opinion)

In fact Rosie Duffield was so utterly disgusted by Starmer etc accepting donations, she accepted expensive tickets to The Golf Open👇🏼👇🏼 She was also so.. so disgusted by WFA plans she abstained from voting.. whereas she could have voted against it, as she resigned anyway but nope she didn’t 🤷🏼♂️🙄
I'm not usually one to insist MPs have to go through a by-election if they switch party but so soon after the general election is really pushing it
