There is just no political will to join the EU. And you can‘t even put „,yet“ behind that statement, because there is just not yet enough people‘s will to join the EU. Maybe in some years, but there still will be hard-core Leavers doing everything to prevent any steps towards the EU. (1/2)

You say Mobius strip, I say Macbeth. I think that the UK’s situation with Brexit is comparable with staging Macbeth. The last government and this one are staging it with different actors, props, costumes, emphasis, but the same lines, plot and tragic outcome.
