That's the irony of it, Catbus. Billions spent on killing, whilst people are dying because of very expensive health care. We think alike.

The biggest irony is that universal healthcare is CHEAPER overall than the American system

if the politicians took care of the populace as well as they take care of the military, the world would be a very different place

World's most powerful & advanced military - check Boots on the moon - check Space telescopes - check Probes & robots landing on, orbiting, or studying more planets than most nations will send shit to in the next century - check Universal health care - have you even seen the EU? Too expensive!

Politicians don't mean "we" as in you and me. They mean "we" as in politicians. If they pass M4A, their money dries up from the insurance companies and then they can't afford to keep paying for the lifestyle they've grown accustomed to.
