If I had that info, I’d share it. Submissions from women basically fell off a cliff in March 2020 so stands to reason same thing happened with readers. But I don’t have the data to say anything definitive.

I think all university press publishing is made possible by some extra something from somewhere, but the where varies. Subventions, an endowment, understaffing--you name it. : )

It’s $34, which tbh seems low given labor embedded/production value, but please ask your library to order so as many people as possible will be able to spend time with it. Any inner ring suburban library will find it pertinent!

But we need to do something different. As Kohei Saito says- we cannot solve the problem by doing the same things that created the problem. The choice is not between equity and speed. The choice is between actually addressing the climate crisis or not.
