Lilium lilies, including the Easter Lily and Bai He, are poisonous to both dogs and cats, while the daylilies of Hemerocallis, are poisonous to cats, but are safe for dogs. Peonies are poisonous to dogs, cats and horses, but can be safely consumed by humans

Don't forget tulips. They're part of the lily family , but it takes ingestion.

I try to. in 2022 my GF were given Easter lilies in a supermarket. On our way home, something about lilies nagged me. One Google search later, my GF gave her lilies away when told how bad they are for cats. Since then, if not sure about what flowers are in a bouquet she's given, she gives it away.

Oh, thank you for this! I have Peace Lily on my plants wishlist. I don't think I've seen lilies on lists of toxic plants for pets. (And they may be different to cut flower varieties but just to be sure...)
