Related, walking through the airport with a mix of locals who are entirely blase and non-locals who look on the verge while hearing gate attendants making announcements that there is no need to panic.

I had originally thought "How is that hard?" but then after my first 10 thoughts that were all 1987-1989... 😆

It's been a good work trip. Turns out my coworkers are pretty decent people in person too, and had a lively debate with the CTO about the virtues of various scripting languages.

It is in fact pretty gross out. (I've been in Nashua this week for work. No time for socializing or I would have pinged you. 😞)

I was surprised too given the ability to shoot multiple times.

You’d think the PWHL could have not scheduled a game during the NCAA Women’s National Championship game…

I was reading the rules the other week and apparently no. Once the shootout starts no goal changes except for injury, and any replacements for injury can not warmup.

My pettiest joy in re: this first PWHL season is seeing Boston languishing near the bottom of the standings after all the various commentators were *so sure* they were gonna dominate the league coming out of the draft.

Screenshot of the current standings in the Professional Women's Hockey League of North America (PWHL): Toronto is in first place with 36 points and 5 games left to play; Minnesota is second with 33 points and 6 games to play; Montréal in third with 30 points and 6 games to play; Ottawa in fourth with 27 points and 5 games to play; Boston in fifth with 22 points and 6 games to play; and New York in last place with 17 points and 6 games to play.
