it is genuinely sickening how many people exist that seem to think that "human shields" is a good reason to indiscriminately kill civilians. if you think the 'enemy' you're fighting is despicable enough to use civilians as a shield, what the fuck do you think murdering the civilians is going to do

anyone who reads an argument like "they wouldn't have killed all those civilians if X boogeyman enemy wasn't hiding behind them" and is convinced by that is a clown and deserves to be mocked.
