i got a 69% on a paper that i thought deserved better. (69% is a fuck you grade; "this could've been a 70% but i'm making a point"). i asked the prof why, he said that my thesis & supporting evidence were both good but didn't match. sometimes a premise is faulty and no good writing will shore it up!
