My session this morning, note that elo (a scoring system borrowed from Chess) is what matters, not kills vs deaths. When you shoot someone down, you take some points from them based on your relative skill levels and multipliers for weapons used. I started this morning with 2401, ended with 2553.
2500+ puts me in the range that would be grandmaster by Chess standards. The highest scoring kill of this session (the gun kill worth over 100 elo) comes at the end of the video linked here.
Sometimes I worry I'm not as good a pilot as I say I am. Then I get caught in an emergency situation like this and just win. For context: this plane is a BVR strike fighter, it is not designed for close range combat, let alone a dogfight. Being out of missiles is usually a death sentence.
