Had mine at 35 and 40 and while there are advantages - I had a lot of fun in my 20s! - it does make me a bit sad thinking of the time I won’t have with them, and any grandkids, the other end. A motivation to mind my health for sure but I do wish we’d started a bit sooner.

Completely agree, all the overseas work I did in my 20s and early 30s was great and I couldn't have done it if I'd had kids earlier (first at 34) - but I am a bit sad about being an older grandparent and I won't have the 50s that my parents had (AFAICT basically their 20s but with more money)
