Seven years into my marriage, I hit a breaking point. Since then, Iâve had to decide whether life would be better without my husband in it.
I really canât shake the feeling that the full implications of ageing population plus more geopolitical instability plus climate change plus higher interest rates plus Brexit have not been fully considered. I get why - itâs a truly scary prospect if you think about it.
Itâs just protective pessimism. No-one know what will happen over two years let alone three decades.
I find it increasingly hard not to obviously roll my eyes when yet another 50-something finance guy says: âWe wonât rejoin in my lifetime.â
