The 14thC easter sepulchre at St Peter's, Sibthorpe is an amazing and wonderful survival. Christ emerges at the top announced by two censing angels, four knights slumber at the base in ogee topped niches at the base (the colour dates from the 19thC restoration)

A rather lovely 14thC weighing of the souls remains at All Saints, Croughton. The colours are so rich and St Michael's wings and clothing are particularly detailed.

I'm not surprised either, the exterior is the better painting but they're both rather weak.

It's the Lord Leycester hospital in Warwick, the interior view is the chapel of St James the Great inside the almshouses. But agreed, they're a bit dull.

Such beautiful angels in the 1930 ascension window by Henry Payne in St Andrew's, Aylestone.
