Another thing that isn't talked about very much is how Gears 1 at its core was a game about dudes shooting aliens/mutants in very dope gothic and victorian architecture. I'm glad we have this back with Islamic inspired architecture, even tho it has some weird OoT levels of subtext.

But yea, Gears has really dope architectonic design. I could spend a lot of time looking at all the detail. I prefer that to the drab boring post apoc locales.
