We always stay on St Marys, used to be Hugh Town just behind Porthcressa Beach, but we now stay in Old Town at a place called Carn Ithen. We hire a golf cart to get around as it's a bit of a trek to get to the quay for the boats to the other islands. We’re also just behind Porthcressa in Hugh Town. It feels very busy, I would definitely prefer to be somewhere a bit more remote. But the kids are still young.
