Just thought, your photo was perfect to show where I meant - the circle is where the Sally Port is, and the arrow is where the Pirate Ship Playground is. There's not a direct path though, you'll have to circle around the hill to get there.
There's also a good playground at the top of that hill, near the Star Castle Hotel. I could gush about the islands forever (I think a lot of people do!) I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Best place while they're small. Much easier! You're close to my favourite walk around the Garrison, there's a cool "secret" way on to it - look for a spot called the Sally Port (W3W ///thudded.comply.meatball) and follow the stairs up. 1/2Best place while they're small. We always stay on St Marys, used to be Hugh Town just behind Porthcressa Beach, but we now stay in Old Town at a place called Carn Ithen. We hire a golf cart to get around as it's a bit of a trek to get to the quay for the boats to the other islands. So let me get this straight. The centre right win the EU election. The centre left are in power in the UK, Germany, Spain. In Poland and Czechia, the centre right sent hard right governments packing. In France, the left and centre hold the line against the fash. Tell me again how Europe has fallen.
