Figure he was doing the typical evil wizard thing, turning into a big nasty dragon in order to terrorize the countryside & demand tribute from peasants, only to find he couldn’t go back to normal. Alex, the protag (on paper)/antagonist of the Amaranthine story. After her hometown was destroyed by the dark power Hyden unleashed, she vowed to ensure future generations did not have to endure what she did--no matter the cost. So, obviously, she's got little patience for Hyden himself. #furryart
