Right wing politics leads to less regulation, less socialism, less worker rights, higher debts, higher exploitation - basically more capitalism, which generally works in the favour of banks. And they certainly wouldn’t want to cede power to a high profile individual who could turn on them any time.

And also fewer consumer protections.

Ah, I see. Anyway the answer is no. The banks don't care about that, they care about the value of the business they helped fund.

But yes, all speculation, and probably partially or entirely wrong. But entirely plausible 🤷‍♂️
