The statement "We do not know what Trump wrote to Kim -- or to other dictators, for that matter" is simply not true, as several of them have been published over the years
It's almost somehow as though Business Insider did a story on a bunch of those pre-presidency Trump love letters to Putin in 2020 but of course those are long forgotten: www.businessinsider.com/revealed-don...
Donald Trump invited Putin to the Miss Universe pageant years ago, adding a handwritten all-caps message promising "THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!"
WaPo: There is no evidence to suggest that Vladmir Putin or Kim Jung Un are dictators, and the letters attributed to Donald Trump could have manifested themselves on their own through quantum tunneling.
Newspapers are big organizations and the left hand often doesn't know what the right is doing. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it can lead to absurdities when you try to do nitpicking fact checks like this
How can we rescuer places like WaPo and NYT from the corporate overlords now driving this mess? Or is it better to just ignore and replace them?
One can tell which of the two letter was penned by tRUMP. (Hint: the one with lengthy, coherent sentences was not.)
WaPo can just ask Bob Woodward if they're unsure. Woodward wrote a book about Trump, and those letters were what Trump showed to him to brag.
See sometimes they did manage to save the letters he tore up & tried to flush.
