Pretty good Western with an overall warm and comfortable vibe despite bits with shooting and killing. It has a warm brown and yellow homely look + how the Sheriff helps his alcoholic friend and bonds with a woman who has been skipping from town to town. 📽️
time to see for the first time Howard Hawks' Rio Bravo. The film he and Wayne made as a response to the awful commie film High Noon to showcase real American Western values 📽️ NW:
The paradoxical horror of feeling alone but also feeling another presence around you at all times but that's never really there. The internet doesn't just create the illusion of connection that doesn't exist but maybe shows us that we never truly can form connections with other humans 📽️
Going to see Kyoshi Kurosawa's Pulse for the first time. I heard this one is quite scary so let's see how it affects me. 📽️ NW:
I enjoyed this film that two interwoven stories in the life of two siblings. One is a script writer who gets loved over by two men with one getting jealous enough to commit crime. The other story about a trans woman taking care of a girl better than her biological mother. 📽️
time to watch my first Pedro Almodóvar flick -- La ley del deseo (Law of Desire in English). I will be able to see his newest film in theaters so I better watch a couple of highlights from his career. 📽️ NW:
Continuing my Dark Souls II journey. Got beat up by Ruin Sentinels last time so I am going to avoid them now. www.twitch.tv/cirikino
