My youngest is at a private school and they have gone all-in on this book. Parent reading club, phones banned at school, just this general disapproval of social media and screens in general. Do my kids watch too much YouTube? Yes! But they have this entire internet of information!

I read encyclopedias as a kid, they go down Wikipedia rabbit holes and watch Mark Rober build insane feats of engineering. We definitely keep eyes & ears open to make sure toxic stuff gets discussed and debunked, but I refuse to say that the internet is a net loss for teenager mental health.

Yeah. I had to have a discussion with the principal at one kid's school as they're promoting the book to parents. But now I'm debating if I'm going to be the annoying dad at the school telling all these other parents that the book is nonsense.
