I haven’t had time to actually read it, so i guess I’m going off vibes and these discussions of its shortfalls. That makes me less inclined to speak up. Kid is already the overdramatic quirky one, so it could just feed into a “ah, so now we know why Kid is like this. She should read the book.”

I did read it, and it's a pretty quick read, as it's pretty clear that he rushed to write it. Very short chapters. Very sloppy writing, especially after the first section (where he highlights the studies). It loses steam fast. I guarantee most people touting it haven't read it.
