Is there an objective/widely accepted cut-off point for old vs new paper? This I wonder everytime I write "More recently, X et al (year) showed that ..." wait... what is recent?! 😂 I feel like nowadays my thesis date is the right point of reference only for the "early stage researcher" badge 😅
