Here is a guide from the joint U.K. teaching unions on how to conduct an air audit for the classroom (can also be applied in any room). Teachers please please do not underestimate the impact you can have on your students health by following this guide. neu.org.uk/sites/defaul...
As well as measuring the room, think about the number of occupants and decide how much noise you’re willing to accept. Noisy air filters often get turned off. Models with extras such as ionisers are not recommended as they can release toxic chemicals into the air.
Buy an air filter to remove pollutants, viruses, dust and mould. @cleanairstars.comcleanairstars.com/filters
At work or school consider getting a CO2 monitor. If a room has high CO2 levels it’s a clear indication of poor ventilation and action is required - usually opening the windows. Place your monitor away from people, doors and windows for accurate reading.
Have a conversation with your manager, teacher or the people you share your home with. Take a whole house approach to ventilation. Ensure the windows are opened at least once per day, especially when cooking. t.co/D336ek1W2s
