It sure is the Palek piece. Actually Molly Navy referenced Palek in her recent piece in @histassoc.bsky.social Teaching History 196. She focuses on similarity-difference in that piece (very good article) but talks about change and continuity enquiries intersecting with it.

It'll probably need several goes. I'll be fussy!
