šÆ Same as ānon-verbalā and āpre-verbalā usage. Slight changes to language have such an impact. I admit I didnāt give it much thought until I started working with the special sector a few years ago. We also use āfirst 20%ā rather than ābottom 20%ā in our Trust - transforms some conversations.

I always imagine someone being coached in a sport. Do you want them to say āthese are your weaknessesā or āthese are the areas you can improveā.
One suggests its something that can get better, the other something more intrinsic and the fault of the person. Personally, I think it does matter.
