They generally don’t mean the post-doc from France. They absolutely mean the woman who was born in Baltimore to parents who were here legally.
If you listen to their raving fantasies (for instance, about how Kamala Harris isn’t qualified to be President because her parents were here on visas when she was born), it’s pretty darned obvious. They want to redefine birthright citizenship into whites only.
That’s true, but a lot of postdocs are from Brazil, India, and China. From what I see the European postdocs are a minority.
I know this isn’t about me specifically, but as someone born outside of DC, but raised in Baltimore by refugees who were legally allowed to come:
