I love that this guy’s defense is “I’m a sovereign citizen, you can’t say I wanted to kill Trump just because I was acting weirdly, I am ALWAYS weird.”
I have seen many worse defenses
You'd think political figures would just have somebody working the parking lot - if somebody drives in with a hand-written 'license paper' on their back plate, just pull them in and question them.
I mean, yeah. That does kinda track for sovcit types.
The wording of this bit feels quite odd to me: 'Bianco also said the FBI is questioning another man after bomb-detecting dogs “repeatedly” identified him as possibly dangerous.' So no humans were involved in the decision making process? The dogs were indicating presence of a smell, not danger.
In his defense, not having a registered vehicle and using fake plates and fake passports is pretty par for the sov cit guy course.
Courtney, I really thought this was all one conversation- and boy howdy was explaining it in Alt+ a bit of fun... In no way am I making light of your post. Just a very tired human.
I am concerned that the press is quoting the sheriff, even as that cop admits to be making shit up as regards to the armed man's motives. Not surprised at the press acting as cops' stenographers, but concerned they keep doing it this close to election day and potential violence that day/night.
Actually he does kind of have a point there
This quote, though: “I’m an artist, I’m the last person that would cause any violence and harm to anybody.” Says the man who casually drives around with a shotgun, a handgun, and a high-capacity magazine in the trunk of his car.
Okay now honestly? Relatable.
