Innumerable nights/mornings I've stared at the ceiling with that question, including this morning at 4. At 5 I gave up, made espresso, started work. I don't know what else to do.

I did it in my twenties and I was *still* exhausted af, more tired and exasperated at times than I have been since, and Iām in my fifties. I have much admiration for those that do it later in life!
james earl jones was one of those actors that defined Acting for me as a kid. from star wars to coming to america to the hunt for red october to the sandlot, he was The Guy to me. RIP to one of the greatest to ever do it.
I have learned (particularly in progressive circles) not to criticize the beet, though I agree it is a garbage vegetable that mainly tastes like dirt. The beet lovers are not to be messed with!

You can be excited to vote for Kamala, find the Walz family adorable, *and* think the DNC was craven and wrong in denying a platform to the Uncommitted movement. I think it's exciting to be in a political moment that can contain all those things. There is room to grow and the momentum for it.
