I feel like an idiot for not being able to see the design flaw in this that causes an entrapment hazard. Is it something to do with only two screws holding the cover in place cause it to stress crack into two halves, or distort and bend so there are pinch points on the edge?
Oh wow, I just found a review for an identical product sold under a different brand in 2023 specifically noting that it isn't VGBA compliant. Sounds like someone has a warehouse of these things and is being a real scoundrel to try and sell them all off.
