I came so close to seeing that yesterday. Transformers was ever so slightly more convenient time-wise at my local theaters, though.

Scrivener replied to my email about AI. It's an unequivocal no to AI in their product. (Their point being: they won't, if an author wants to they can.) Please repost this. These guys are decent people and a pretty small company.

Hi Steve,

We do not have nor have we ever expressed any intention on incorporating AI into our products. This puts your data into your hands to entrust to your cloud service of choice or not or third-party tools that can integrate with Scrivener like Grammarly or not.

The only real reason to keep Twitter anymore is so that I can slowly watch more and more artists post that they're on bluesky now so that I can follow them here

I think a lot of modern headlines are written to be longer than most summarization things (like push notifications) will fully write up, trying to get people to click or tap the article so that they can at least see what the end of the sentence is. It's annoying, but I respect the ploy.

It occurs to me that there's usually two metrics here. "I can't believe how early they're putting Christmas stuff in stores" and "I hate that I can't escape Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You". I probably shouldn't conflate them. So far it's just been a meme about Mariah Carey.

I saw that on Twitter for just a flicker, and then it was gone... A better life awaits!
