3rd day - telling stories w/ a beginning, middle, end, & ACCIONES. I model another story #enespaƱol from my heart map w/ acciones included on anchor chart. After Ss build, they tell their stories using acciones chart on tables and a list we generate. Chart becomes part of writing resources folder.
2nd day - telling stories w/ a beg., mid., end, & PALABRAS DE TRANSICIĆN/ TEMPORALES. I model telling a different story w/ palabras included on anchor chart. After Ss build, they tell their stories using chart on tables. Chart becomes part of their writing resources folder & they add to it.

Do any of the other things too: protesting, giving to local campaigns to flip the house, phone, phone banking, donating to abortion funds, getting more involved with your local libraryās governance, etc.
Iām too overstimulated to socialize after school so postcard writing is great because you can listen to music, focus on writing pre-created messages & simply be in the same space. Itās also āschool-safe activismā and ānon-partisanā (snorts w/ fingers steepled in evil contemplation).

Iām thinking of this election & these efforts as harm reduction. Iām trying to host parties that do no harm- outside/ providing masks/ thinking about access.
