Very rarely do I see it brought up that maybe this new way of presenting the game could genuinely make someone appreciate the source material, and even if I don't agree with this mindset some people just don't like old games. They should port the original fs, but this isn't the death of art
There are people who still have this idea that if you change something in a remake it's instantly bad. And it's never "I prefer how this was done originally" it's always "They KILLED ART". No pondering why something is how it was, or if it was in spirit of something the og did. Just bad.
Being a large personality with extreme opinions unfortunately is the quickest way to get attention, and it's so difficulty to navigate around those kinds of people when you're just Not

Need to make myself use this site more so bad. Maybe it's just bc my follower count is much smaller but it's nice to be able to post a thought and not immediately have people assume the most bad faith interpretation of what I say.
I personally think we can say that yeah we do get a lot of remakes but also a remake itself is a fascinating lense in which to view old art and some can be really cool. The capitalism part of this is annoying but there are ways to side step that by being patient or also knowing how to Google.
