The Silent Hill 2 remake proves that the spirit of the Silent Hill series is alive and well, proving to be a worthy adaptation of the classic.

Need to make myself use this site more so bad. Maybe it's just bc my follower count is much smaller but it's nice to be able to post a thought and not immediately have people assume the most bad faith interpretation of what I say.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for liking remakes of old games because I can just go play the original version easily (he knows how to google), but it seems quite easy to hold the opinions of appreciating the artistry in old media and finding it fascinating to see it told from a different perspective
Going to use this site as my place to discuss the general response of the SH2 Remake bc twitter sucks There's this kind of tone I'm getting from some of the extra passionate group of people who despise this remake that anyone who likes it is stupid and hates art and that's so counterproductive.
Finished it last night Really loved my time, one of the best modern survival horror gameplay experiences you can get. Up there with last year's Alan Wake 2 in how buzzed I felt to be a fan of this genre after I finished it. God.

Late last night while I was winding down from a night of very passionate ideological debates about bad media I started to wind down with watching an episode of the greatest comfort media I got right now (gundam x) and that hack fraud gc said "no play a game for me in call" so my day is in shambles
