HRT saves lives. it sure as fuck saved mine. 💗

HRT gave me a life. But if I were to be bleak here for a second... If I didn't have my wife, and a tenuous and incomprehensible notion of a future together with her while stuck in the UK... I would probably have killed myself at some point. If not by now, by my mid 30s. I had no other future.

saved mine, too and cis society still views this as the path of last resort. the failure of all other options. meanwhile, we're dying waiting for the chance to just be ourselves as they make us try literally anything else than that

Fuckin' SAME, sister. Fuckin' SAME. By the time I started I had accumulated somewhere around 40+ years of quiet self-loathing that was building pressure like a dam about to break. Sticking fingers in it only helped briefly. HRT was the super-bonding agent that fixed the cracks before they burst.

I'm realising more and more how much it's saved mine 💖 Like, I'm still working on making myself a healthy, functional person after a decade of adult life where I just kinda dragged my meatsuit from bed to work to a pub on repeat. I may not have been at immediate risk, but I was ROTTING.
