I made a little graphic that shows that the total area used by solar parks and wind power in Germany is significantly less than that of golf courses (approx. 50,000ha), for example. Some of the figures are from different years, but the proportions are pretty accurate.

And it sure seemed like a ton of that solar land was still grazed when I was working there.
