Forgive me if this is all obvious, but: 1. For a very long time (since 1965, basically) American society has long been coming to a point where it has to decide whether it's going to be ruled as a multiracial democracy or a minoritarian apartheid regime. This is a binary choice, no third options.

I suspect that Republicans will now ramp up efforts to outright steal the election and use voter suppression to blunt a blue wave to maintain their House majority and capture the Senate. And they have publically stated this as their plan, so it should not come as a surprise.

Well, the fact that most of it is kinda obvious BUT rarely put so succinctly is why you should be writing Op-ed pages and not the fluffers who currently do. (Apologies if you write Op-ed pages...in that case, you should expand this to book format).
