Hmmm... Imagine if prices were higher at the grocery store because greedy grocery store owners jacked up their prices under the guise of inflation. That could never happen, right?
Egg prices vary wildly. Lots of mid shelf dozen eggs are around $5. Top shelf, something like $8. I've seen them go as high as $10. Per dozen. Vance is also fond of hyperbole and can't make a photo opp to save his campaign. But eggs are often not "cheap".
I pay $8 in Seattle, but God Damned Fucking PETA got to me so I get those crazy eggs where the chickens all get free college, therapy and a pension plan. Which I can’t afford so I gotta make 12 eggs last a month.
