We seem to have a leaky roof and some water ingress. Checked insurance policy: doesn't cover leaks in normal weather as that indicates lack of repair (seriously?). Put in claim. Will take them up to 7 days to send out a surveyor to decide whether I'm covered. Do I wait? Or just pay for a roofer?
