I'm becoming increasingly convinced a lot of the complaints around d20 games are just veiled gambling addictions manifesting as an obsession with dice-based tactics games, since so much of it is about wanting that illusion of chance with no actual risk of failure.
One of the Reddit regulars who's actually a good egg and gives great #pathfinder2e advice, AAABattery03, has started a Youtube channel with detailed strategies on how to use specific spells. It's really good, and if you want tangible examples of good spellcasting, check it out.
