Elon Musk's grand electoral ploy is to commit a bunch of blatant election-law crimes. Because Elon Musk thinks laws are for little people. open.substack.com/pub/davekarp...
Elon Musk tries to disrupt electoral politics by doing a bunch of blatantly illegal shit
Each violation is 5 years in jail. Perhaps Musk's sentence will be over 10,000 years in jail?
I'm surprised how little journalistic writing there is on these crazy moves but maybe I am unaware of them. Do you know of any?
It makes sense, though. He's like a handsy college football cornerback. The refs/authorities will only call a fraction of the penalties that you commit, meaning that you come out ahead
How well does Musk fit any of the definitions of oligarch?

Then I think Elon is right about that--laws are for little people, the rich & their Republican hired help get away with it with minor wrist pats--so it makes sense for him to go big or go home on election criming.
And if they win, he will have been proven right (and proceed to build more government architecture to buttress this position)
Unfortunately this is America and that's often the case, and the movement he's funding is working there hardest to make it so
He’s right though sadly. Even if the Dems win we have decades of examples of how opposed they are to enforcing the rule of law on their political opponents.
