One thing I think not enough people know is that the US is the biggest oil producer in the world and this year, eight years since the Paris Agreement was signed, will be the biggest single year for US oil production in history. 2024 will break that record.

Countries including U.S., Russia, and China are set to blow past production goals in spite of pledges to reduce fossil fuel dependence.

The United States is the largest arms exporter in the world, 40% of the global market in 2018-2022. U.S. Citizens remain blissfully ignorant of the connection of the arms trade to international terrorism.

The production of coal, oil and gas is going to continue increase, through at least 2030 for coal and at least 2050 for oil and gas. The gap between planned production and climate targets is enormous, and largely unchanged over the past few years. themessenger.com/tech/fossil-...

AKA with what science is telling us about continued burning of fossil fuels the U.S. is the world's biggest CLIMATE CRIMINAL, engaged in a wildly risky bet on untested technologies that under any common sense moral framework is an indefensible act of violence to the future of life on the planet.

Well when we aren't avoiding price gouging and transition to ev's, we can stop using so much oil. If we used another county's oil, we'd have the 70's all over again.

Maybe not in the US? I feel like the rest of the world has a pretty good sense of the areas where the US is "leading".

Have been leading the world in oil for years now. Also the US military is the world's largest polluter. But run of the mill libs get mad when you point this out because they think Biden's "big" investment in climate change is sufficient.
