At what point in this story do good people decide their only option for survival is violence? If you've tried your best to escape the terror around you, and still it follows you wherever you are able to go, is your only choice to stand and fight back with anything you have to hand?
Also worth mentioning that Rafah is a famous border crossing into Egypt, and Egypt has shut the border down since the start of the invasion. Palestinians have literally no where to run.
Of course that slightly darker part of the map in the bottom left is a different country that connects to a whole 'nother continent with plenty of room, but that different country has barred their entry
