I'm not convinced that *artificially* creating activity is going to create a community but it'll certainly make bsky active. People are organically driven by content and interactions (big difference with "engagement") and forcing high numbers will dilute that.

It always surprises me how few people repost things. Likes are nice, but are essential just a, 'Yeah, I saw that'. Reposting posts you like to the people you follow is the nicest thing anyone can do.
